The Graduate and Adult Admissions Office is responsible for the ongoing program of student recruitment and admissions of adult and graduate students.



The GAAC provides a high level of personalized service to inquiries and applicants. He/she gathers information on inquiries and inputs into databases for mailings and communications.  This person also educates prospective graduate and adult students regarding admission policies and procedures.   All activities of this position are to make a contribution to the fulfillment of the mission of the university.



  • Recommended by Director of External Partnerships and Business Development
  • Approved by Approved by the Executive Vice President: Chief Operating Officer and Vice President for Enrollment Management and New Program Development



  • Report to Director of External Partnerships and Business Development for daily supervision
  • Meets regularly with program directors of the MBA and Online Bachelor Degree (OBD) programs to keep up to date on program information and provide admissions data  
  • Works with community liaisons to meet admissions goals    
  • Interact and function cooperatively with other campus personnel



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish each of the below duties satisfactorily:

  1. Greets prospective students in a professional manner, determines their needs and either provides appropriate information or directs them to the appropriate person or department.
  2. Maintain contact with prospective students through email, phone calls and personal visits.
  3. Creates and maintains admissions files, facilitates admission processing for all incoming students.
  4. Updates all student information in the CRM
  5. Continuously reviews open files to facilitate completion.
  6. Review files and make the admissions decisions for MBA and OBD programs
  7. Follows up with students that were admitted, but did not enroll in classes
  8. Meet enrollment goals for both the MBA and OBD programs.
  9. Accurately forecasts projected new students on a periodic basis for MBA and OBD programs.
  10. Achieves start rate goals, and conduct all activities in accordance with admissions profession ethical standards, and federal and state requirements.
  11. Performs transcript evaluations and advises students on which courses to take
  12. Other duties as may be assigned from time to time



Supervise student employees as directed.     




Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.  Master's Degree preferred.
